The porch was only 10’ by 14’, so my floor space was limited.  So, I designed a shelf to hold art supplies.

As you can see the installation of the shelf would probably not meet with OSHA’s approval.  I wouldn’t recommend this, but it worked for me.

The shelf has given me more storage space which I reach with a ladder. I just need to be mindful of the ceiling fan when I climb up!
